Steak Salad with Blue Cheese, Avocado and Basil Balsamic Dressing

Ingredients:
- 8 oz of steak sirloin or ribeye
- 2 cups of mixed greens lettuce, spinach, arugula
- 1/2 cup of crumbled blue cheese
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup of red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides
Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat
