These Orange Chicken Kabobs are just the right amount of sweet and savory, with a citrusy kick. The skewered chicken, colorful bell peppers, and red onions are grilled to perfection, making them a tasty and healthy choice for your next barbecue.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces assorted colors
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions:

Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes if you want in a bowl with a whisk

Put the chicken in a plastic bag that can be closed again and again

Then, pour half of the marinade over the chicken

Put the bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes and up to two hours

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Using skewers that have been soaked in water, alternate the chicken that has been marinated, bell peppers, and red onion

Put the kabobs on the grill and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, turning them over every so often, until the chicken is cooked all the way through and the vegetables are soft and slightly charred

For extra flavor, baste the kabobs with the rest of the marinade during the last few minutes of cooking

Take it off the grill and serve it hot

If you want, you can add orange slices and fresh herbs as a garnish

Have fun with your tasty Orange Chicken Kabobs!
