These Shrimp Burgers with Chipotle Cream are a tasty way to change up regular burgers with seafood. The chipotle sauce on top of the juicy shrimp patties adds a creamy and slightly spicy kick that makes them a great summer treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • For Chipotle Cream:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until finely chopped, but not pureed

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, red bell pepper, minced garlic, green onion, paprika, salt, and pepper

Form the shrimp mixture into 4 patties and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up

Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat

Oil the grill grates or pan to prevent sticking

Cook the shrimp burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are opaque and cooked through

While the burgers are cooking, prepare the chipotle cream by mixing sour cream, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned

To assemble the burgers, spread a generous dollop of chipotle cream on the bottom bun, add a lettuce leaf, a shrimp patty, tomato slices, and the top bun

Serve the shrimp burgers with extra chipotle cream on the side for dipping

Enjoy your delicious Shrimp Burgers with Chipotle Cream!
